The PGS II is equipped with a 200 lumen LED flashlight that is activated when the grip safety is depressed (meaning automatically when you grip the device). The PGS comes with (1) 11g pepper/UV dye capsule, and (1) CR123 battery. The pepper gel that comes with the PGS II is the same police-strength protection that many law enforcement agencies use.
