The Byrna LE pistol is Byrna's most powerful handheld launcher. Show here in the black color, the Byrna LE is a Less Lethal pistol that is NOT a firearm and it is effective at stopping at attacker whether human or animal. Powered by compressed air (a CO2 cylinder), the Byrna LE shoots .68 caliber round kinetic and/or chemical irritant projectiles that can disable a threat from up to 80-feet away. The Byrna LE features a completely redesigned trigger interface and valve assembly to fire .68 caliber rounds at speed of up to 340 feet per second. The new trigger design on the Byrna LE allows for a much smoother and lighter trigger pull, providing a better experience for the shooter.
It is an incredibly powerful and non-lethal self-defense weapon with no recoil so anyone can use this. The Byrna LE is not classified as a firearm therefore does not require a permit or background check to own. You must be 18 or older to purchase.
This kit has everything you need. You get the Byrna LE pistol, two magazines, co2, Pepper Balls, Kinetic Balls, Eco Kinetic (practice) Balls, and a case.

WHAT SIZE CO2 CYLINDER DOES THE BYRNA LE USE?
- The Byrna LE Launcher uses 12 gram CO2 cylinders. - (The Byrna LE Launcher WILL NOT function with an 8 gram CO2 cylinder) * Byrna does not recommend the use of Crossman brand CO2 cylinders in our launchers as they may not puncture correctly and can damage your launcher.

HOW LONG WILL MY CO2 CYLINDER LAST ONCE INSTALLED IN MY LAUNCHER?
- One of the most important things that sets Byrna's handheld launchers apart from the competition is Byrna's patented "pull-pierce" technology. This enables the Byrna Launcher to simultaneously pierce the CO2 cylinder and fire a projectile with the first pull of the trigger. Why is this important? This allows your Byrna to sit for days, weeks, months and still be ready to fire on the first pull of the trigger. Once pierced, the CO2 will start to leak out, fully discharging over the next 24 to 48 hours leaving the launcher inoperable. With the Byrna, you can leave your launcher fully loaded, in your glove box or nightstand, knowing it will be ready to fire when needed on the very first pull of the trigger

- The Byrna LE Launcher has an effective range of up to 80 feet. This allows the user to stay at a safe distance that is 3-4 times the distance of an average stun gun.

WHAT IS BYRNA'S PATENTED PULL - PIERCE TECHNOLOGY?
- One of the most important things that sets Byrna’s handheld launchers apart from the competition is Byrna’s patented “pull-pierce” technology. This enables the Byrna launcher to both pierce the CO2 and fire the projectile with the first pull of the trigger. Why is this important? It is important because it allows your Byrna to sit for days, weeks, months or even years and still be ready to fire on the first pull of the trigger. Most other launchers pierce the CO2 canister when it is loaded. Once pierced, the CO2 will start to leak out, fully discharging over the next 24 to 48 hours, leaving the launcher inoperable. The alternative is not to load the CO2 until it is needed, however, in that case, the launcher will not be ready to use when it is needed. It is like carrying a gun without bullets in the magazine. With the Byrna, the installed CO2 cylinder is not punctured until the trigger is pulled. This means you can leave your launcher fully loaded knowing that it will be ready to fire when needed on the very first pull of the trigger.
